Editorial Policy
How we decide what to publish and how we handle mistakes.
Last updated November 2026
What we publish
Practical, general guidance on weight, food, movement, sleep and habits, written for ordinary life rather than ideal conditions. We favour approaches that are sustainable over ones that produce fast results and then collapse.
What we avoid
We do not publish extreme restriction, unproven supplement claims, before and after photographs presented as proof, or any promise of a specific result in a specific time. We do not shame readers about their bodies.
Accuracy
Articles are written to reflect mainstream, well established guidance. Where something is genuinely uncertain or disputed, we say so rather than picking a side for the sake of a cleaner story.
Corrections
If we get something wrong, tell us through the contact form. We will correct the article and note that it was updated.
Independence
Advertising never influences what we publish. See the advertising disclosure.
Medical boundaries
We do not give personal medical advice and we will not answer questions about your individual health. Those belong with a qualified professional.
